Lady and I went to Hungry Mother State Park, Loaded with all of our camping gear. This would be her first long ride on the Tenere. We outfitted her with an Airhawk Seat, and Tusk Footpegs to try and help her comfort. It helped somewhat. (Day long Seat and Lowering bracket for foot pegs making its way into the budget)
Rode along at 75-95mph most of the way with no issues. Hand Cramps, sore butt, the usual. Stopping every 100 miles for gas and a walk.
We Camped at Claytor Lake State Park for 2 nights. Had all our food and water and tent. Overall it was a nice time and a great test.
We took 100 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway, as it paralleled the highway. Quite successful
In total, 800 Miles starting Friday, ending Sunday
