2022 Cache Gathering - July, California

Where: Crescent City, California
What: The Cache Gathering is a small "no frills" rally attended by mostly Adventure Touring bikes, however all bikes and riders are welcome and everything from US made cruisers to German vintage bikes has attended before.
The Crescent City Redwoods KOA is the official host location but there are numerous other places to stay nearby.

I'm still juggling a schedule conflict but hoping to work it out so I can make it. The riding and scenery in that area is among the best in the country!

Hey “Tombstone”, Do you have any local ride routes already planned out that you can post in a map photo for us to see? It will probably be nice and cool up there and looks like a beautiful area. Is there any additional information you could offer, or even a link to a previous ride so we can look at the prior year’s adventures and festivities?

Sorry for the delayed response... I'm currently riding around Central CA and hadn't checked in for awhile. I'm not the organizer this year so I don't know for certain, but I assume that yes, some rides are mapped out.
I have a couple specific rides that I need to do while there to qualify for the SCMA triple Crown, come-a-longers are welcome of course!
I'm also assuming that rides and probably a dinner or two are the only planned activities.
BS'ing, Beer-ing, and Bench racing are the usual nightly activities.

Well that was fun!
Attending we had a KTM 890 (if memory serves) Tiger 800 several Stroms and a couple S10s.
Talked bikes around a campfires, and in cabins. Watched the fog roll in and out..

Next year's location is likely New Mexico. More on that later in the year.
All on all the Cache Gathering was three days of Tons-O-fun!

I wanted to join up with you guys, but timing has been horrible. I am curious, where exactly did you take this awesome “oceanfront” photo? Can you please post a “pin” on a map for all of us seekers? I may drive there the next time I head north from the Sacramento area. Thanks
