The 6th annual Cache Rally. June 14,15,16 This is a "No frills" rally. No planned group rides, no maps, no pins, shirts ect. Only riding all day, bench-racing at night - rinse and repeat. The Yellowstone RV park, Gardiner Montana is the place, just outside the North entrance to Yellowstone NP. I've reserved the tent sites so no individual reservations are needed. Please let me know if you are coming. $10 per person per night.

The Cache rally is a small, informal gathering, about 16 to 20 attending each year. All bikes welcome, last year there were 3 S-10s a couple GSAs a Duck and a bunch of Stroms.

Your Facebook link shows dates as only 14 & 15. Did you reserve group tent sites for the 16th also?
Good question... I don't think so as I assumed everyone would depart on Sunday. I probably have the details written down, but I'm on a ride right now. I'll try to remember to double check when I get home in a day or two.

My post above is correct. I have reservations on three sites that will fit 3 or 4 tents per site on June 14, 15. I'm certain it would be easy for an individual to reserve the extra day if they want. Most attendees don't have that many days available, so we just meet for the weekend (Friday and Saturday) do a couple rides and dinners and wave good-bye on Sunday.

Hoookay.... I've cancelled one of the four tents sites I had reserved. Yellowstone RV normally only allows TWO tents per site, but they will let us have three per site, meaning the cost will be $15 per person per night. Space will be tight, but otherwise it would be about $23 per night....

So the people on the list below have a spot reserved on my sites, but if anyone decides to join us just call Yellowstone RV and reserve another place (reference the "Cache Rally").

I'll be there Thursday afternoon and I'm pretty sure nvr2old will also be there at that time.
See you all in Gardiner!
[Don, I have a spot reserved for Thursday.]

How's the weather forcast looking? Were getting close, need to get my oil changed and some repairs on my tent poles. Whats the concensus on food? Cook in camp? Eat out? or you gonna share some of that road fixins we had in Moab?

The weather will be good.....notice I didn't define "good"... :) We normally get our own breakfast and lunch, then the group will meet at an eatery to share, lies, rumors, and fish stories...and oh yes, a meal.
After dinner the sober ones usually sit around the fire pit (with or with out a fire) and solve weighty problems.

We set rides when we get there...someone usually has a good suggestion. Also, as for a 'group' ride....we've learned that a 'group' of 3 or 4 is the best way. So folks just get together with whoever is doing a ride they like and head that way.

Have a great time!! I love Gardiner MT!! I stayed at the little motel overlooking the Yellowstone river in 09. I ended up staying for 4 days on my Ninja.
