I have a 2014 ES and thinking about a 2018 ES model to get the YES warranty and do some significant miles in retirement. Anybody know what the low price would be on last year closeout?

If I was you, I would probably see if I could find a dealer with a new-non current '17; I'm sure they're out there. Although you may have to do a fly-n-ride. But, how many miles does your current ride have?

Spend how much to get YES? How many miles are on the 14?

Use cycle trader.com. Spend some time with the filters, sort by price. I see a 17 in California for 12. Tan color. There is a 17 dark blue in NC for 10!

Thanks for the replies, I only have 16k miles on my current bike and have decided to keep it. Plan on buying a lighter weight dirt bike for off road.
Good way to go if you can. Your '14 is barely broken in! I've learned my limitations on the S10 in rougher stuff. (The S10 is more capable than I am.) A lighter bike would be way more fun when the going gets rough.

Is there any significant difference between the 2014 ES and the 2018 ES?

I found a left over 2017ES with 0 miles in Jan. , hadn’t even been serviced yet with 4 years of YES for 11,900 plus tax , title etc. Dealer was ready to sell it because it sat on the showroom floor since new with no one interested in it in south Florida.

I found a leftover 16 es last August. It was a great deal. I just added 4 more years of YES for under $400. Only thing was I could have any color I wanted as long as it was black. They were selling the non es for $500 less. I went with the ES and haven’t regretted that decision at all.

Best deal I found currently is a dealer in Grand Junction that was advertising at $13,999 but will take $13k plus $100 dealer fee.
