Load it up and go somewhere you've wanted to?
If I could doing India on the S10 is a dream! It would be an altogether different ride as compared to the Royal Enfield 500cc ride back in 2015.

Is there a link to that rider’s blog or something ?

Never mind. Found it!

I do believe I will finally get an ACD Plate very very soon!
Importing one or 2nd hand?

As for what's next.. I'd say get some different tires.. at least when these wear out.

Options I'm looking at:
TKC80s
Avon Trekriders
Shinkos
And in the mix - Motoz from Australia.

I can confidently say this is the very first ACD Skid Plate after ACD set up their own shop in the US. For me, this plate is planned to be the ‘one & done’ Plate - whether I ride the slabs or go ‘off-road’. I bought the Raw Aluminium flavor instead of the powder coated black. Intention is to custom paint the plate later.

They look like they should do the job well.
I've been looking at other tire options and these are also in the running. Local Canadian supplier lists them but has shown all sizes out of stock for awhile now. Keep us posted on how they work out for you.

Next up.
Ordered a pair of windshield braces from Tom ‘Propsoto’. I have my GPS mounted on the Nav Bar. No distracting vibrations. But these braces will just help bolster the support. Added value in that Tom includes the longer hardware to use if Winglets installed.

Indeed. ACD Racing has now restarted sales and expect to go all out to regain their market share.
I got to be quite the pest with them and they rushed out the very first plate from their 'new' stock to me.

ACD ST10 Plate #1 Owner: Check! :)

Windscreen Brace: Check !

Can’t say enough good things about Tom and his very simple and inexpensive product - the Windscreen Brace.

I received the well packaged Braces yesterday. I was sitting on the fence in buying these braces. But after situating my GPS on the Nav Bar, while the vibrations were not distracting - for the long run - I thought it better to buy and install these Braces.

Braces, finished in black to match, are supplied with all the hardware you’ll need. Including longer capscrews in case Winglets have been installed. Very clear and simple (idiot proof!) instructions. Once installed it looks as if it is a factory fitted part.

This has to get the vote for the best ‘must have’ farkle for the Super Tenere

QuadLock phone mount installed last week before heading out to FL. Good test ride. Long slab ride and playing around in the sand and bush whacking. Phone stayed firm and stable. Once locked in, it stayed put.

Adjustments of the base mount (around the bar) and a small lever allows for multiple positions to suit. Separate plastic ‘poncho’ to make it waterproof.

**Updated** If any of you are looking for some windscreen/accessory bar braces I have plenty available. Braces area laser cut aluminum and powder coated flat black . They use the existing winglet mounting holes (They work fine with the winglets). These bars still allow adjustment of the windscreen. I'm 6'-4", so my windscreen lives in the highest position, it has not slid down.

These have been on my bike for a few years now. It is really nice being able to read my GPS and radar detector. Before the braces I could only read my GPS on the smoothest asphalt.

If you'd like a pair, just PayPal $25 (Anywhere in the US) or $35 everywhere else to tom.propson@sbcglobal.net or mail cash or check & your address to:

Tom Propson
15 Reef Court
Appleton, WI 54915

All necessary mounting hardware is included.

Hope you all like them.

Here is a link to another thread regarding my braces.

Installed:

2" Roxx Risers + RideOnADV Extension Cables.
I was planning to do myself, but bumped into a local bike mechanic - every reasonably priced - got it done in about 1.5hrs all in. His garage is like a full blown bike workshop.

Roxx Risers + the S10 = a whole new bike! What a difference to the stance, posture and so much added control. I now feel I'm taking turns and bends as if KillBoy.com is hiding taking pictures of the lean!

200 mile Saturday ride planned as the Roxx Shakedown ride.

Is it Saturday yet!
