Just changed battery on mine to the 14s bike wouldn't start recently, wouldn't even click starter, off on, off on then error code 12 (I think) then started fine!
Went to dealer and mechanic said error code was crank position sensor and low voltage could do that, said my cruise control light was flashing, voltage again and sometimes I couldn't switch TC off until the engine had been running a while, mine is gen 2 but the battery in these bikes is marginal and if not working correctly can cause weird issues!
