I plan on attending the new York international motorcycle show, I wonder if the new Tenere will be revealed there? it's early this year. Friday dec 13th. I'll take pictures if it is.

I doubt they'll have the price released, but I'll ask (if its there or even if it's not)

This bike can be seen on the Yamaha UK site. Electronic suspension just like the FJR ES.
Cruise control and a few other small tweaks. Yamaha USA will post details in March.

But it's not clear how the new features will be sliced/diced for the US and Canadian markets. Will we get a single model with some mix of new features or two models? That's why these announcements are interesting, as well as confirming delivery dates and prices.

I'm going to the Int'l MC show in Minneapolis Jan. 17-19; hopefully they will have the 2014 ST there as I'm seriously considering upgrading to the new model next year.

Doubt the show will preempt the official US announcement scheduled for March. These things are controlled and coordinated at the importer level.

January 10th. The first day of the Calgary Motorcycle Show at the Round Up Center. Be there or be square!

Be sure to ask the Yamaha rep if we're getting 2 versions or only 1 version with electronic shocks. CDN MSRP would be nice to know that then too.

I just attended the Progressive Intl. MC Show at the Long Beach Convention Center and was disappointed to see that Yamaha did not have the '14 ST on display, guess we'll all have to wait until March to see the new bike. That is if there is a new Tenere to be released in the states.

Have faith kgfire. It's coming. :)

Besides, anybody in the 50 states that wants a Tenere can get a Tenere. Even today. And currently at close to V-Strom prices!

It's the golden era for Super Tenere's. Right now!
