Yeah I guess defective is the wrong term as these function perfectly. As for the bending, its not that hard but if you're not careful you can bend both sides in different spots causing an ugly sppearance It also leaves a ripple in the powdercoat if your bend radius is too tight. To be fair though if he wanted to pre-bend the parts all he'd need to do is make a wooden fixture.
I guess I could have made a left and right brace with slight bends. I find It is completely unnecessary, it is more of a slight bow than bend.

Yes I agree, it is better to let the end user to put in their own bend if required. What fits on one bike may not be correct for another due to accessories etc.

Yes, plenty available.

All are aluminum, flat black powder coated, and include hardware for use with or without winglets.

How much in total to ship to Ontario, Canada for a unit? I have the winglets on my bike as well, will they fit?

I just wanted to publicly thank Propsoto for the good business gesture AND an awesome product.

I ordered the Superbrace and USPS either delivered to the wrong house or the package was stolen from my porch. Tom sent me a second set and never asked for repayment, a kind gesture to say the least. I installed the brackets today and they look great and work perfectly.

Dollar for dollar these brackets are one of the most effective mods available and I highly recommend it.

Agreed on both acccounts! I resent payment as well. From one small business owner to the next I was compelled.

I installed my set today using the Yamaha winglets. The fit/finish, quality, function, and value are superb. They were an easy
install and look like OEM stuff. ::008::

Just installed my braces and want to make sure I didn't miss something... Am I correct in saying the shield mechanism will no longer lock into the four adjustment settings once the braces are on?

You are correct, but they will still snug down, so not really a major issue.
