SOLD - 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere (Black) (Allen, TX) (40,212 miles) ($4,500)

Looking for $4,500. I've had this bike since 2014 and it was used as a daily driver, light off roading, motocamping, and long distance trips (South Florida to Deals Gap). I'd keep it if I could manage to get it included in my move but just don't have a way w/o spending ridiculous amounts of...

The S10 doesn't accommodate baby seats very well

How tight do I need to tighten my straps? Are the straps also DOT-rated for motorcycle use as a baby seat belt? P.S. I'm not an idiot. No baby is getting a ride on the bikey-poo.

    Whose S10 was this?

I had to bring my bike into the shop to get the hydraulic brake thing-a-majig replaced. While looking around their showroom area in and outside, I crossed paths with this '12 S10 and I'm pretty sure this was a forum member's. The Tabasco skid plate is sort of a dead giveaway.

Anyone extend the cables for the OEM heated grips?

(Tried searching and didn't find anything :/ ) I bought one of the RRR Tools Adjustable Handlebar thingies and I knew that I may have issues due to the brake/clutch lines. What I wasn't expecting was the OEM heated grip's cables being really short. They are so short that I can't even mount...

    Harley to recall 46,000 motorcycles

http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/harley-recalls-nearly-46000-motorcycles/ar-AAbD34r Ouch. That's an urgent recall if I've ever heard one. So what would cause and fix this issue? Simply a rebuild or something more intensive? Edit: Just noticed this is from 4/24/2015 ::)

I might be returning to the motherland (Texas) to Dallas. Expectations?

Howdy y'all. I'm a native Houstonian who's, unfortunately, been located in Florida for the past 7 years. If stuff with work goes the way I hope it does, I might be returning to the great country of Texas, specifically Dallas. I've checked the Tejas section on ADVRider for the DFW area but...

Radiator leak and not sure why

Howdy Team Tenere! After doing some off road riding this past weekend, I noticed my bike was starting to leak radiator coolant. After taking off the side panel and rad fan cover, I started looking around for a major puncture or blemish. There are some minor ones were some fins are bent but...

My year in review of my S10

It was only a year ago where I posted a thread asking our fellow forum members who's wanting to sell their precious S10. A member who lived 15 min. down the road from me was selling his and within 4 days of making the thread, I was the proud owner of a lightly used Super Tenere...

Any interest in purchasing a home made relay kit?

I'd like to gauge y'alls interest in purchasing a home made relay kit. It would be very basic (1 positive connection, 1 negative connection, and a tap into a "hot" wire), not look very pretty, but will get the job done. I'm thinking of something ~$20 shipped. Any thoughts, questions, or input?

    The new Kawasaki Z125 (Grom)

Here are some pictures of the new Z125. If you don't know about the Honda Grom, then know that it's a glorified pit bike. The Z125 is a new competitor in that range of tiny but usable bikes. http://imgur.com/a/5l9IB

I'm riding up to the Blue Ridge Parkway for the first time. WHAT TO DO!?

I'm riding up from South Florida to the Blue Ridge Parkway between Oct 31 - Nov 2 and this will be my first time up there. The plan is to do the Dragon once and then explore the many other routes that are available up there. Who's got some good routes? ;)

OEM Pannier Rack and Panniers (SOLD)

I now have a new setup and no longer need this OEM kit. I'd like to sell these for ***. There is some damage to one of the corner plastic pieces on the right-side pannier but it's only noticeable if you stare at the bottom of the case. I'd like to do this locally. If you aren't able to pick...

WaspWorks thread from ADVRider (actually see the pictures)

I'm pretty sure most of y'all have stumbled on the WaspWorks thread on ADVRider that has tons of missing photos since his site has been down for years. I always wondered what they were and thought "Maybe the Wayback machine has a copy of it." Lo and behold, it has the first page. He did a...
