I don't recall how many miles are on the current set but they've still got a bunch of life in them. I know Penny test doesn't really apply to motorcycle tires but you'll get the idea of remaining tread.
Looking for $4,500.
I've had this bike since 2014 and it was used as a daily driver, light off roading, motocamping, and long distance trips (South Florida to Deals Gap). I'd keep it if I could manage to get it included in my move but just don't have a way w/o spending ridiculous amounts of...
Yup, going to be the first kid. The S10 and WR250R are my only forms of transportation so I'm currently in search of a truck. Best middle ground to carry all my babies ;)
How tight do I need to tighten my straps? Are the straps also DOT-rated for motorcycle use as a baby seat belt?
P.S. I'm not an idiot. No baby is getting a ride on the bikey-poo.
I had to bring my bike into the shop to get the hydraulic brake thing-a-majig replaced. While looking around their showroom area in and outside, I crossed paths with this '12 S10 and I'm pretty sure this was a forum member's. The Tabasco skid plate is sort of a dead giveaway.
If you are on a super budget, then the DSBP upper crash bar is helpful. If you can afford a better upper crash bar set, then I'd suggest going for that.

Happens to me every couple of months. Turn off the bike for a couple minutes and when ready, full throttle, turn key to turn the bike on, and immediately try to start. If you're lucky, the engine will turn and run. Make sure to lower throttle but not completely because the bike may stall out...
Have had a K1 for over 6 months and it's been working flawlessly the whole time. I even got to record this gem:

Really nice writeup on Bike Bandit on how to change the oil on the S10. It even has pictures! I followed that guide and the pictures really made it super simple to follow along. I used Rotella T6 which seems to be great based on reviews by our fellow Teneristos...
Haha, Being in the main part of Dallas sucks. There are plenty of suburbs outside of Dallas with wayyy less people. Also, lower humidity means you can actually sit outside and not feel like you're dying. It's quite enjoyable :)
Are you the 2014 S10 rider I met at the FL ADV rally in January whose fan motor burned out after a fall? I've now moved to Dallas and brought the S10 to something called the K-Trail which was NOT a place for a Tenere which I learned the hard way. I'm going down hill with rear brake locked and...
Re: FS Pivot Pegs $125 shipped
Seriously, off-roading has been way more comfortable with these. Your feet will NOT slip even if your boots are soaking wet.
