He did another video where he straps an MX bike onto the back seat of the Goldwing and goes on a dirt trail so he can so some single track on the MX. In this video he goes over some of the modifications he made, skid plate, crash bars etc.

An update on the Norden 901 Expedition. What a bike! The second ride was a 500 mile day to SE Washington. Surprisingly there are lots of curvy roads there. I averaged 55 mpg for the whole trip with lots of spirted riding below the 6000 rpm break in limit. The bike has great highway manners...

Lund - I wear ear plugs all of the time, but I did not notice much of a sound difference. Neither were or are louder than the other. It might depend on the air pressure that is used, even road type.

I have run that combo, E07 front, Trailmax rear for many thousands of miles with no ill effects. 2 long wearing tires. I actually liked them. They worked together very well for all conditions, on road and off road.

I had high hopes until I saw 2 items that jumped out at me from the intro, the tube type wheel/tire combo and no cruise. A bigger windshield would be nice too. The new Aprilla 650 Tuareg has them.
