This is what I did with mine. The rubber will last a couple of years or so before it becomes too compressed and the rattles return. Just pull it off and replace. Cheap and easy fix.

They said it wasnt releated to any of the parts swapped during the recall. They also checked wiring and fuses while they were there, there were all correct. As the recall was performed correctly, its "outside their remit" to find the issue, but they strongly suspect its another part of the...

Had the recall done today. Cruise control still doesnt work though. It switches on, but doesnt activate. Will have to take it back at some point for a more indepth look. Probably a strip and clean of the switch mechanism, although the brake lights work and all the fuses are intact.

Looks like mine is on the list. Phoning the dealer later today.

Just had the 24K service. Needed 2 valve shims replacing. All fluids replaced 2 new Metzeler Tourance Next tyres New EBC pads all round New EBC front discs New taper roller head bearing Got a bill approaching 1500 notes. :oops:
