The Es ride a LOT better than the non ES, totally different valving setting.

I think the cheapest AND strongest option are the Happy trail rack with 2 pelican 1440 case, those one are top loader. With this setup you won't mind dropping your bike when you ride some rought trails.

How they did that? The tenere oem shock is a non rebuildable unit.

Bought some advmonster led light for it, the M60 rated at 3600 lumens each. The second pic show the stock headlight on hi beam, the last one show stock headlight with hi-beam and the aux light on.... 8)

Markething..... Yamaha almost doing nothing to promote this bike, when BMW does a lot for the GS serie. Also the Gs serie is the "flag ship" of the bike adv bike for half a century, so give it some time!

Never get more than 5000 miles out of a K60.... ??? ??? ??? I guess ours gravel are more sharp here in canada :D :D :D

Yamaha's crashbar does not offer any kind of protection for the radiator unless you drop your bike on a perfect flat surface. For a much lower price you can get GIVI one, and they get the job done, trust me!! Tryed several time :D

Who run this tire? How long it last on pavement? I was thinking of running a E-10 front/ E-07 rear for my 7500 miles road trip this summer. The last 2500 miles will be on pavement, so I don't care if the knob are worn out more than half.

8000 km, that's I got with the K60 rear. At least the E-o7 will be cheaper,

2500 miles for the e-07???? I saw several report of e-07 going more than 6000 miles....strange...

Who's have tried both? Does the dakar worth it? My riding is 75% off-road. thanks!

Leaking final drive seals, cruise control install and maybe a rear shock rebuild/upgrade. Bike have 11 000 miles. I ride mostly offroad, so there is dust and cooked mud everywhere.
