    Gen 1 AntiGravity fit issue

It just is a bit annoying to me that after you spend $150+ on a premium battery and then have to grind/file/drill parts for it to fit correctly. I'll get with AG Monday with some pictures and hear what they have to say.

    Gen 1 AntiGravity fit issue

Bought a Anti Gravity ATZ10 "Restart". Went to install it and the + post is to short for the + terminal to align/fit correctly. The negative post was fine. What ends up happening is the terminal bolt hole won't fully align to let the bolt to pass through. Seems the AG terminal post is a...

missing old bike... anything new for 2021 model??

and your bank account. Between the buy in cost and increased maintenance intervals you will need to pony up extra $. Plus you will probably not be able to ride by a Starbucks coffee shop without stopping. Sorry that was uncalled for...not!

    Help diagnosis this condition

Interesting as I just had put on a new rear K60 and this was the first ride on it when I noted the front end condition! Eric that is a pretty good mileage number for a rear K60, typicaly I get around 8500 at about the same 10-20% off road (read: forest roads). I am currently running 47psi on...

    Help diagnosis this condition

HeliMark, I agree and felt the same when I was testing for the condition. I have approx. 4500 on this front tire and I wonder how much more tire life could be expected from running say 35psi on a K60?

    Help diagnosis this condition

I have checked the steering head bearings, as stated. I have not ruled out the tires, in fact that is where I'm focused on.

    Help diagnosis this condition

I choose the K60 Scouts because I wanted a gnarly built tire that I could depend on when riding two up on gravel/dirt. I also understand that a lot of folks run higher pressure in these tires, some run as much as 50psi (rear). Jaxson (Ride on Adv) I think is one.

    Help diagnosis this condition

On a recent road ride I notice a kinda strange, minor squirm/movement through the handle bars/front tire (Heidenau K60 Scout) in the last 5-10 mph to full stop. This is my third set of these tires and this was the first time I notice the condition. It kinda felt like the front brakes were...

    New Honda 2020 ES

While the Yamaha is a proven, rock solid mount it is getting long in the tooth. For the most part it's the same bike with different paint for the last what, 5 years? That spells b-o-r-i-n-g and pretty much everyone who would want a Tenere' has already bought one. Is the Yamaha a better value...

    New Honda 2020 ES

I think alot of folks are drifting away from the 1000cc+ ADV bikes anyway.

Going to Alaska next year (2020)

Consider a flare gun. I understand those are legal in Canada and quite effective given the variety of shells available. Fire is a great deterrent when it comes to critters and peeps. Flares really freak them out!

    Mosko Moto Nomad Tank Bag

Hmmm. Looks like a growth. Not impressed with it on the Tenere' The OEM bag conforms to the tank much better. Looks like it will work better on a off road bike. My buddy has one on his KTM690 and really likes it.

    Food Porn

Ok, I'll play along. Take a pork tenderloin and butterfly it so it lays open. Then add/layer your choice of filling. I combined ricotta cheese, basil, spinach leaves and artichoke hearts. I have also used a little salsa. Roll it all up, tie it together, rub with EVOO, season w/salt/pepper or...

The commuter bike joins the club.

Already have a new one in transit. All told about a $200 repair...still cheaper than a decent skid plate :-) But I did consider some liquid steel epoxy and cardboard.

The well documented glass jaw of the Tenere'. All it took was a gravel road and the front tire kicking up a rock... I heard the "clink" of the rock and started watching the instrument panel hoping what I heard was the rock hitting the frame or exhaust. Nope, got the red flashing oil pressure...
