Ohlins shock for the WASPmobile - Ohh yeh!!

Sorry Tim - Just saw your question. I am sure I have covered this somewhere on these pages, but yes, I have completed the reservoir relocation. The hydraulic spring pre-loader stayed on the R/H side of the bike. The pics tell the story. I just bandsawed the craddle out of some ~1.5" ply and...

    Clutch mod.....bad news!

Those that have done it and not notice a difference, or felt a decrease - I can only suggest it was not done right.... As for the magazine that quoted the pile of rubbish that is the subject of this topic - I can only guess they are absolutely full of shit and either didnt do it right, or their...

    Super gets new feet.

Thanks mate. I am very pleased with the look, but extra pleased with the way it feels. I have always said this bike feels like a large XR600 to me. Even more so now... Greg.

    Super gets new feet.

Woody Wheel Works can supply both. He can (super) lace the 21" rim to the stock hub and retain the ABS, or, he can supply a complete new 21" front wheel assembly with extra strong super lace spokes mated to his new super-lite hub with integrated ABS ring mount. This allows you to use your OEM...

A bit of David Vs Goliath going on here.

This is not a sales pitch or vendors post (I am probably the only inmate on here from Western Australia) - Just a heads up to all you dads of 3 to 14yr olds, or grandparents with young grandchildren. Myself and good mate (Intake-Express business partner) have recently picked up the Western...

    ACK!! No Brakes!

Yep.... Down a gear you have gobs more power when you want it, you have the advantage of stronger engine braking, and you can play on and off the throttle to regulate corner speed. Never been one afraid to haul like hell on the front brakes mid corner in the face of pending disaster.. Lot safer...

Raised the rear suspension (again) on the Wasp Super Tenere.

Might be about right. I know Bargenator has remote pre-load (as does my Ohlins) and i'm pretty sure he doesnt have extendable length. Greg.

Raised the rear suspension (again) on the Wasp Super Tenere.

No, unfortunately they dont - My mate Bargenator fitted Wilbers to his bike and I dont think they are adjustable either... Greg.

Raised the rear suspension (again) on the Wasp Super Tenere.

I love it both on and off-road. I have always enjoyed the way the S10 feels (to me) like a bigger and heavier XR600. The wheel upgrade just reinforces that feeling in a lot more positive traction/steering feel off-road. I dunno what it is about the new larger front on-road but it definitely...

    ACK!! No Brakes!

Solution = Knock it down a gear and go in at higher rpm... Never believed in trail braking. The only time I am ever touching the brakes mid corner it is the front brake (if i'm in too hot) or the back brake on roundabouts and very slow corners, perhaps behind traffic.. Greg.
