Added a aux/spare fuel container. Turned out nice

It seems my wife likes to go with me. She does not however like riding off pavement. So why not have a more comfortable 2up bike? I like touring and seeing the sights by motorcycle. Just looking for now.

I'm leaning towards a 5th gen. Any years to look for? And I'm not in any hurry. I think I'm just going to watch for the right deal.

I am thinking of adding a goldwing to the garage. I know some of you have them and let me know what you think. Most likely used.

I have done the hole mod, and would recommend more holes. Trying to maintain 85 into a headwind with my boxes on.. I've gotten 28.

Changed my engine oil, filter, and final drive oil.

I use the front lever for braking 90% of the time. Oddly enough my rear brake pads were done at just over 20k and my fronts weren't done at 40k.

It depends on the tire for me. Knobbys wear faster on the front. Mitas e07 lasts a really long time on the front for me ( current one is at 14k) all wear oddly and howl as they wear. :oops:

I was thinking about you, Ken as I rode up the start of the trail. The road was sooo smooth and nice. It didn't last though. 80 miles of rough loose gravel. And potholes, soo many potholes. I was loving it.

Around here the SxS crowd tears up the trails, the dirt washes away and all that's left is rocks. Riding downslope with the ABS is a butt puckering ordeal. Much better with it disabled when dealing with the "babyhead" rocks.

Just spent some time riding more challenging trails with the raised links installed. Wow, what a difference. Didn't drag my skidplate once!
