2013 Super Tenere - For Sale - Puget Sound Area

A sad day has come, but I am posting my 2013 ST for sale. After moving, I just don't have the garage space for her and the other 2 wheeled hobbies taking up limited floor space, but I figured that I would find her the best home here. She's an excellent machine and been a joy to ride. Mileage...

How long to bed in the spokes??

That's an excellent point - is road riding vs OR effecting what people are experiencing in spokes loosening? Would be a good point look at [emoji848] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

How long to bed in the spokes??

This is exactly why Yamaha needs to come out with a cast and spoked option for wheels. Bimmer got the hint - Yamaha needs to get with the program M2C Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    Another lowering thread...

One last inquiry and hopefully should be good to go. What are people's opinions/experiences on side stand: 1) buy an OE unit, cut, and weld a foot plate; 2) buy an aftermarket adjustable and a foot plate (right now I'm only seeing Soupy's as the option for this route)? Also, has anyone chopped...

Just looked up - found 19# for upper triple pinch and 14# for lower triple pinch - sound right? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Success!! Amazing how those simple machine classes from grade school come in (the lever). Last but not least - anyone have the torque specs for the front triple? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Good deal - I think with my monkeying around the tension is a bit...higher than probably should be. But good to know I'm not breaking anything if they come out. Thanks all for the quick feedback! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Should those sleeves inside the linkage come out with the bolt? Makes sense - I thought I had unloaded it previously, but obviously not correctly (had it on the center and used a jack to rock it back on the rear slightly) I like this approach better. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Ok - so, I thought this should be a bit easier than it has turned out to be (YouTube lied!). I got the one bone off the right side, after some rubber mallet application - that's when I should have stopped. But I figured first time to be messed with probably in its life, so it's gonna be...

Ok, my search abilities suck. Anyone know the torque spec for the rear dog bone links? Also, in general, is there a list of torque specs?

Couple of questions about Rox Risers

Regarding lines - has anyone replaced their lines with braided lines (i.e. Spiegler), and if so: 1) was there more slack than the OE lines; 2) did you notice a performance difference (i.e. better brake response, etc.)?

    Road 5 Trail???

So, I'm a bit intrigued as I ran Pilot Road 4s and Road 5s on my previous sport bikes; but a Road 5 Trail?? What's the difference from the regular Road 5? Has anyone ran these on their STs? More curious than anything...

    Continental Tires

I can't speak for the contis, although I've always considered them when looking for new shoes. I'm interested to hear the feedback. One reason I've kept away from contis are just what was said - they seem to cup for whatever reason. Had some contis on my VFR and wasn't the biggest fan - cupping...

    OK, maybe I'm being paranoid..

I've heard that the Anakee 3s make a weird sound as well (from other riders and my cousin). My cousin actually replaced his A3s early with wilds and likes them much better. I'm personally running Scorpion Rally STRs. The road balance is great, and the fire road grab is better than a 90/10 by...
