I need some advise on how to replace the drive shaft seal without messing something up. What is the proper way to remove the oil seal from the drive shaft? I don't want to scratch the surface the seal sits on. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

I had the familiar leak in the drive shaft seal on the final drive so I took it off and found oily water and dirt inside the swing arm. The drive shaft was clean but the coupling gear and bearing retainer had a coat of rust on them. I took the final drive to a Yamaha shop to have the seals...
