Strapping down the Kriega 10L to the Super Tenere

Cut and burn is what I have done, but I've got lot of those straps. I use the TT plate for solo adv trips. Love the Kriega combo.

Forgive me Father, for I have sinned

Me like XSR900... I drove all the Yamaha 3ples, and the one in XSR is by far the smoothest. Pretty neat looking bike to. SC Project black full exhust system, Rizoma tail tidy...I'm inlove. Would definitely keep both.

    Rode an Africa Twin today

Well, the first impression, after jumping on it from the S10, is the narrow seat and the narrow gas tank. Pegs are more forward and bit higher than on S10. It's quite strange ant first. The seating position feels cramped compared to my bike. Let's not forget that I have shorter dog bones and...

Anyone else take there 'best friend' with em on the Super T?

I managed to squeeze in my 7 month old ( at the time) giant schnauzer puppy for a ride to the beach. She doesn't look big on this picture, but she is. Plenty of loughs and photos when we came to beach.

It is a budget sensitive bike. Next best thing costs 25% more. Performance wise, it's superb.

2017 model info - NOT the Super Tenere.

I test rode the new Tracer 7 or 700, or whatever they call it this time. I came to the dealer and they just tossed me the keys. This bike will be more or less the weight of the new Tenere 700. While there's nothing new about the power plant, the ergos are completely different. It is also quite...

    Rode an Africa Twin today

That's my point... It is small, and seat Is too low. I'm 6'4" so not exceptionally tall. What it may look like a belly, it's just the jacket. :D I think I have a pic somewhere from a French Web site, but that's irrelevant unless you sit on it. I was truly disappointed.

How many of you do wear protective clothing, because........

For me it all depends on the season and reason. Winter commuting mostly tech jeans, tech shoes, jacket, gloves and the helmet of course. As the summer approaches, I'm downgrading the protective gear, till I reach swimmshorts, T shirt, sneakers and jet helmet. If I go for a ride outside the...

Anyone else take there 'best friend' with em on the Super T?

No, not really. I only put the towel underneath her to the beach and back. We never travelled that far. That dog loved the bikes. I could just leave her on the tank while im in the beach bar like that for hour easely. I used to say "guard it"...boy oh boy, nobody could come close. She's 11...

    Rode an Africa Twin today

S10 is definitely a keeper. The first time a sat on AT, i was unpleasantly suprised how small the thing is. With 6'4" i felt like I sat on Dominator 650 or something. With that suspension travel and ground clarence, I was expecting 950/990 kind of feeling, with my legs stretch out to the...
