    Kilometre to MPH Conversion

For actual day to day use, I would do a motorcycle GPS like a Zumo. If that isn't good enough for inspection/insurance, I would temporarily thow on a cheap dirt bike gps with a magnetic pickup at the wheel

    Kilometre to MPH Conversion

I’m assuming your ‘22 is same as my ‘15, no way to go KMH to MPH. US models can do the reverse, but CAD models can’t

    Creaky Clutch Pull

Mine was the clutch switch causing a terrible creak, took it apart and lubed it, has been good or 3-4 years now.

    No Keys :(

Another option is to get the keycode and a key blank from your local Yamaha dealer. Either they can cut it if they have a key cutting machine, or a locksmith can.

Suggestion for a brake disc bike lock

Personally, I don't worry about it. My biggest fear is some drunks pushing the bike over or other mild vandalism. In the very unlikely event it does get stolen, that's what insurance is for. Thankfully across many years of touring, and staying in some unbelievably sketchy dirtbag motels (I'm...

Anyone have a Sena 20S for parts?

Hahaha, it is a play on the local mispronunciation of Toronto. We don't pronounce the second "t". There are other bastardizations of it as well such as "Churanno". The Toronto people of Reddit were pissed when "The Man From Toronto' movie came out and most of the cast did not use the local...

Anyone have a Sena 20S for parts?

Looking for ECU (lost in mail)

Important point. American bikes don't have the immobilizer, Canadian bikes do. Not sure if it would be plug and play if you put a non-immobilizer ECU into an immobilizer bike. Also not sure if the ignition cylinder immobilizer reader is mated to a specific ECU. Pretty sure the red programming...

That's a new one, punctured oil pan on the highway (with damage pics)

So the drama seems to be over. Got a new pan and put it back together with a thorough clean. Rode it 200km's today without a glitch.

That's a new one, punctured oil pan on the highway (with damage pics)

Minor setback. New oilpan from Partzilla came slightly damaged. Mating surface on opposite ends of the pan is smushed a bit as well as the dowel hole is not round. Shoutout to them, they're sending me a new one and a return shipping label.

    Daniel1 BenVain11@gmail Aaron Pettit LOOKOUT SCAMMER(s)

Another one "Raymond Tenere", messaged me just now with the below "I recently purchased some items from Venture, Engine oil pan is among the items he's willing to part out with. You can email him at ben492444@gmail.com if he still have it available."

No chance of that, happened in a very high traffic area on the highway

That's a new one, punctured oil pan on the highway (with damage pics)

Thank you, definitely could have been much worse given the situation. That part is actually a baffle inside the pan that should be located right where the hole is. There is no obvious signs that it was a previous break and repair. I'm sure I would have noticed it before, plus the dent on the...
