My local shop doesn't list a 110 front tire option for that, only a 120.

The tire shop had both the Anakee Road and Road 6s in stock. I checked them out and ended up going with the Road 6s because they just looked beefier and more substantial for 90 bucks more. The 5s gave me over 10,000 miles with decent handling till the end so I'm expecting similar bang for the buck.

I use Howard Leight Max Lite. The key to inserting them easily: Roll an earplug up and lick the end being inserted. Reach over your head with your other hand and pull the top of your ear up. Then insert the plug. Quick and easy. These never bother me even riding all day.

I'm past 10,000 miles on my Road 5 trails. Still got a little life but will be replacing soon.

Anyone using the Road 6? I've been running Road 5 Trails, but they've been discontinued.

I 705s. I'm gonna blame my iphone's tiny keyboard. :p

That might've made the difference. I didn't take the big pig on dirt, have other bikes for that.

How much mileage in total do you have on them? I also bought my Tenere used and it came with the 708s. They lasted another 13000 km / 8000 miles before I swapped them. Weekend riding and commuting, no super heavy loads.

Anyone else have an issue lately? Thinking about getting a set of 705s, they're $200 less than Michelin 6s.

Pretty uncommon experience. I've had two S10s and have put about 70,000 miles and they've been flawless. The first one needed a clutch at 30,000 miles. That's about it other than regular maintenance. It may be lazy to blame the flash, but you could return to the stock map and see if it makes a...

If you lane-filter go with the narrower set. You'll use them more often after your trip is over. That'll also make you pack more carefully for the trip. People tend to take too much stuff.

Finally installed the Givi skidplate I bought in 2018. :p

I fit my Givi skid plate today and had the same issue with the front bracket. Luckily I was at a buddy's place so he could weld the nuts to the brackets and he had a grinder. Surprised Givi let that error slip through. Pleased with how it looks. I'm not going to be bouncing off rocks with it...

Thanks for the pic. Did you change to their braided clutch line? Or levers? They charge shipping by weight, so I'm paying the same whether I buy only the slave or braided lines/levers as well.

Maybe you've figured this out, but Revzilla is showing a different bike's skidplate in their ad for the S10's skidplate. Why I have no idea... :rolleyes:

I've been riding daily for nearly 30 years. Hand strength isn't a problem. But commuting through city traffic means constantly operating the clutch and if if it can be improved why not? My MT-09 has an extremely light clutch despite it being cable operated and it makes the S10's clutch pull...
