The new Mitas E07 Adventure tire (tyre)

Steve that's not a test that's only his quiz. Answer those and then the test with tougher questions and debate comes. LOL I've read from you before that you like the tire. I believe you rated it even better than the old E-07. Now with the mileage update you gave above it appears to be a winner...

The new Mitas E07 Adventure tire (tyre)

I will deny that statement. So the fact that the rubber on that E-07 is so thick has nothing to do with its longevity? Tread depth new is 12mm. Once that 12mm is completely gone i.e. bald, racing slick tire there is still more rubber on top of the cords than a brand new street tire. Sent from...

    Reinstall bottom steering bearing???

Yes you are correct. I wasnt thinking about the application and gave my case bearing/seal method. Actually I've never heated one side except for using TX heat/sun. Freezing one side has always been enough for easy bearing/seal driving. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

    Reinstall bottom steering bearing???

Do the opposite, you want to freeze the bearing and warm the triple. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

dakar clip watch till the end lol

I've never "heard" anyone speak ill either. Probably have bumped into 300-400 people using them over the last 4 years. But there is one member on this forum who has never tried one that likes to type ill of them every chance he gets. That's who I was quoting when I posted that. And...

    ECU Flash?

Not true, Gen 2 had reduced restrictions vs Gen 1 but not eliminated like a refash can do. There are plenty of Gen 2 reflash reviews out there. All have been positive and note significant improvements. I have not yet heard or read of a single person regretting their reflash, both Gen 1 and Gen...

    ECU Flash?

So you confused me then. I thought your bike's ECU is not reflashed as you "reflashed" your wrist instead for free. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

What is a high mileage for a Super Tenere?

My iirc was he retired his first one (Barber Museum) at 147k miles and his second one had less miles when he switched to the Venture. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

    ECU Flash?

Not really. A flash can remove the big rev restrictions your '17 has in gears 1-3, adjust engine braking to your liking, change radiator fan engagement set point and more. It can be a custom tune to your specific liking. A flash is not only for smoothing the fueling as many state. I would not...

dakar clip watch till the end lol

I think the bare rim in sand is better than one of those unsafe Mitas E-07's with the chevron tread pattern. LOL LOL Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

    ECU Flash?

But doesn't accomplish what a ecu flash does. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

What is a high mileage for a Super Tenere?

He's done some riding for sure but for mileage I doubt if he would even be in the top 20. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

IS ABS Module is a weak spot of this bike

^ +1 what Don T said ^ And remember our ABS pump is Bosch and made in Germany (probably only German part on the bike). I think Yamaha planned this to keep owners from switching to BMW. Imagine if all of your bike's parts were German. ouch! LOL
