    Clutch Slipping a little

I replaced my clutch plates and spring a few years ago, due to drag, not slipping. Although the kit is labeled spring and plate kit, the spring was not included in the kit, so I bought it separately.

    Oil pressure issues?

There is no oil pressure sensor or switch. The oil light is triggered by a level sensor in the crankcase. Put 3.5 liters in the engine and don't worry about checking the level.

    Need help installing right grip

Yes, I just installed one on a 2020. I thought the dealer screwed up and ordered the wrong one but it's the same as yours. But I didn't get a new cable housing and holder. So just zip tied it in place.

    Valve Shim Adjustment Questions

I had a Yamaha Tracer 900GT, I ordered the Hotcams 7.50 shim kit and they would not fit. The Yamaha shims were 7.48 and I had to get them from a dealer by Yamaha part number. At that time I wasn't able to get the Hotcams 7.48 kit, it is available now.

    Borrow your OEM saddlebag mount?

There is clearance in all the mounting points. Loosen all the fasteners on the lower mount and on the footpeg bracket, push or prop the rear of the mount up, then tighten the fasteners. Now attach the pannier, if there is still clearance inside the pannier lower mount then something is bent. If...

    XT1200ZE - Clocks / Meter - Yamaha parts

I have 2 Tenere, an ES and a nonES. I have swapped the instruments from bike to bike and neither will work properly even though they have the same part number. Once it is installed on a bike it appears to 'learn' if the bike has ES or not, is Kms or Miles/Kms, and the clock shows ERR. For...

    Adaptive cruise control

I don't understand how ACC could cause a vehicle to go 48 in a 70, unless the operator set the speed to 48? Or were you following a vehicle going 48 and neglected to pass it?

    Hyperpro shock only

Yes, but much less sag at the rear then caused more weight on my wrists which I think aggravated the fork springs issue. It seemed to me the softer, comfort portion of progressive springs is all used up with preload and sag, and I was riding on stiff spring portion only. .95 constant rate...

    Hyperpro shock only

I replaced my leaking and worn stock rear shock with Hyperpro complete with remote reservoir and preload adjustor. Within a short time I found it necessary to address the forks, as they felt way too harsh. I replaced the stock progressive springs with Sonic constant rate springs sized for my...
