How to raise the fuel tank?

I need to raise my petrol tank to remove some sat nav wires which I think could be cable ties to the frame.

The videos I've found on YouTube seem to contradict each other.

Could anyone provide me with an idiots guide on how to pop the tanks up?

Many Thanks

I've just done it a few weeks ago for the first time.

Undo the two fairing side panels that almost touch the tank and move them until you see three bolts on each side of the tank itself. Undo and remove the big bolt of each three. Remove the front seat, loosen the hinged bolt the tank sits on slightly.

Now the bit I didn't do, push the breather pipes up at the bottom of the bike to give them a little slack. Pull the tank upward (I did mine with half a tank of fuel and it was okay). Use a few bungees to hold the tank vertical. I struggled until the rubber hoses loosened on their own from the zip ties I had put round them in the bash plate area.
