LOL, yes so many times, specially at night with all my lights on.
I see them slow down and change lanes to let me pass, then look at me like saying, "You are not a cop!"
This is my normal riding gear, also I'm 6'4 so I tower over the bike and the windscreen.

Happened all the time during the month I rode with a modulator. People would just freak out and pull over infront of me. Took it off because it just made the car ahead of me unpredictable and dangerous.
Once when DM and I were taking a break in some Adirondack parking lot a group of Europeans in a SUV pull up next to us. Some attractive woman get out and starts telling us about some hiking trails they are trying to find. I tell her it sounds like a great place. She looks confused, then asks...aren't you police officers? Sorry, no. They drive off no better informed.

I was outside the National Cathedral talking with a friend while giving him a tour of town. My gray Darien pants and hi-viz jacket and his klim badlands full kit caused a lady to ask us if it was ok for her park in the circle to drop off stuff for a party. We told her she could park wherever she wanted if we could get an invite.

I just noticed that your front turn signal lens are clear. Then ones over here are orange.
yes,
over here in the uk they are orange to, i swopped them over to clear lenses and put switch back led's in so they run as running lights but soon as you put one of the indicators on it switches to orange for indicator and soon as you turn indicator off it goes back to a running light.
