Just a couple of Frank Frazetta's art work. I used to read Edgar Rice Burroughs as a kid that used his drawings for the covers.

Saw Zappa at Hammersmith Odeon incredible 13 piece band. 5 rows from the front dead centre.

Sadly, he passed away before I could see him. I have seen Dweezil Zappa a couple of times on his "Zappa Plays Zappa" tour. Wicked good and an incredible band. Worth it just to see the band and not as a nostalgia act.
I also got to see The Grandmothers of Invention, which was a small group of Mothers players a few years ago. Even Don Preston at 84 years old was playing keyboards on that. Napoleon Brock was the singer for the Grandmother's. Great show and they all hung out in the lobby of the small theater to chat afterward. Fantastic!

I saw The Mothers in Camden, London when they did a tour after FZ passed away. Eddie Van Halen gave Dweezil his first guitar i believe. On one of the You cant do that on stage anymore albums Dweezil plays the lead solo on Sharleena with FZ backing him up. Wow.
Yeah he likes both kinds of music, Heavy and MetalGee - Do I detect a theme?

When we were in Ireland in 2008 we met some folks from the UK. Music came up and I dropped my genere and they went right to Sex Pistols. I countered with Napalm Death. I like to think I earned some respect back after that.
