One more sunny and warm day in Sweden in November!!
Crisscrossing 250 km of paved one lane back roads to enjoy yet another fall day to remember.
Passing a "wild bird sanctuary lake" (https://www.vastsverige.com/en/hornborgasjon/) for a quick stop to talk to a bunch of bird watchers with camera lenses the size of the muffler of the S10.
I know basically nothing about wild birds and they knew absolutely nothing about bikes. 30 minutes of interesting discussions! What a great world we live in where we can enjoy different things while still basking under the same sun.

Nope, they only eat the best cuisines. Having a full kitchen in there, and all. Cops are the ones eating the chicken nuggets. . . . while they're still in the car. . . . on the way to a call.

It also depends on who is cooking...although I do recall the recall the time I stopped into my dad's station before he retired was pretty good for lunch...

A 300 mile day trip over Berthoud pass, thru Winter Park and Granby with a side trip to Grand Lake to check on the fire damage. I did not see any fire or smoke, but could smell it. Only saw 1 burned out house. Once back to Granby, I headed west to Kremmling then south thru Silverthorne, Dillon, Frisco and Breckenridge. South of Hoosier Pass I found a county road that took me to Montgomery reservoir (water supply for Colorado Springs). The temps on the east side of Berthoud pass were in the low 50's, they went down into low 30's on the north side and stayed there until south of Kremmling.
Grand Lake with mirror smooth water.

The fire got close to down town Grand Lake. The hillside is on the north end of town

Green Mountain reservoir is a little low.

Montgomery reservoir. The road goes up the valley in the distance, right of center to another smaller lake.

You can see the cut for Hwy 9 right above the water line. Lots of little roads to explore someday in the valley going down towards Alma.

Had a great weekend of riding. Weather in NJ was Spring-like. Mid 70s.

Van Sant Airport in PA on Sunday. Don't have any worthy pictures of the Tenere but the planes were flying and cool classic cars kept rolling in and out while we were having lunch.

Hope you all got out if you had the chance. Warm weather gifts all weekend. Ride safe.

Goldwing turned 560,000 miles on a 400 mile round trip to Minnesota yesterday to pickup some spare parts bought from a friend. The picture is of some Goldwing friends that met me at a Kwik Trip gas station for some coffee and BSing, I’m the one wearing the Honda hat.
