USPS is having some protracted delivery times lately. I had a package that was delivered from Fedex to the USPS in Raleigh NC (about 65 miles from me) and it took about two weeks for the package to get out of the Raleigh facility.

That’s a funny looking USPS tracking number. USPS numbers are usually 22 numerical digits. Is there another number like that anywhere on what you’re looking at?

I'd say it's more than time to contact Storm Industries and explain that your package was never received, so they can either try and locate it, send you another item, or refund your money.

I'm with WJBertrand...that doesn't look like a USPS tracking number.

Retired postal carrier and supervisor here. That number is not really a tracking number its an international customs form number. Likely it went to the Chicago O’Hare Airport facility, which is a postal black hole. Best bet is to call the Oak Creek facility and have them get the search process started. Still, after two months you’re not gonna like the answer.

I ordered a part from Europe. It sat in Chicago for over 3 months. It was still there for 4 weeks after I contacted my local postmaster and he filed a missing package report. I didn't think I was ever going to get it.

It look me a bit over 6 weeks to get something from England vto my address via the postal services back in May/June. The standard tracking system didn't work either. Obviously this is a lot longer than six weeks, but over the summer, the USPS got seriously messed up and remains so.

No answer here, but you may be experiencing the system as designed under new management. The seller may have no ideas what's going on, either (that was the case with my English firm).

Good luck,

Many years ago I bought a set of forks from a guy that wanted paid by check, put check in priority mail and tracking showed it getting about half way there and stopping, it didn’t move for a couple weeks so I went to local post office to complain, the head guy made a phone call and a couple days later the check was delivered. What actually went wrong I sure don’t know.

I have been placing lots of online orders since the coronavirus started. I have had 3 orders shipped through the USPS that appeared to have been lost. Like your package the tracking info just stopped. All 3 packages were eventually delivered with no tracking updates. One package took 4 weeks to get from California to Wisconsin. Don't give up on your order yet, but definitely contact Storm Industries.

I dislike when I find my order is shipped via USPS. The computer system is lacking at best. Sometimes you can get it in a couple of days, or something that is promised in two days is actually two weeks, and heaven forbid if the location is anywhere near where the package actually is. A number of times, mine has been delivered, but the computer shows the USPS still hasn't picked the package up from the sender.

There was a news story here recently, don't remember if it was a whistle blower sort of ththing, but videos surfaced of a back lot at a Fedex facility, I believe, that show literally acres of "lost packages" piled in parking spaces. Disapointing to say the least.
