also please at what K milage approax. we need to change the spark plugs?

SBS pads are the best. They’re not harsh like EBS and won’t damage your disks. Have a word with Walt at Stop Shop and he will advise you which ones to get (and which ones not to get) Walt provides brakes systems for several of the Isle of Man race teams and likes to share his knowledge

I haven’t tried SBS but would be happy to try them, as I’ve been happy with them on previous bikes. I can though recommend EBC HH on the front brakes, I’m on my second set and prefer them to OEM pads. No noticeable disc wear in approx 20k miles. Stick to standard Yamaha pads on the rear, as the disc seems more prone to wear.

Plugs, changed mine at 13k, wished I’d wait until 20k miles. Bit of a catch 22 situation with the plugs though, due to water ingress in plug wells 1 & 2, which can be problematic if left too long. IMO it’s worth checking them yearly, then you could say, while here I may as well change them. A fender extender helps here.
