I got emails and tracking numbers saying that they shipped. Front from twisted throttle and rear from Shadetree.
Same here, 4 fronts and 2 rears. I still have 2 E-07 Dakar originals left from my last bulk order so should be good on tires for awhile. Looking forward to trying the E-07+ front tire. The old one wasn't my favorite off pavement, easier to wash out on loose stuff than the E-10 and E-09

Received my front today. It’s the original E07 Dakar. Was looking forward to trying the E07+.

Hi Mak. What is the difference between the Dakar and the normal one besides the yellow stripe? I ride the + front and rear and like them very much.

Is there a + version of the front? I've only seen the original.

This is what Mitas says about them. I have the “standard” non Dakar on now.

Selected sizes are available in the “Dakar” version (Yellow stripe): Tire with a stronger carcass and higher puncture resistance. Suitable for higher loads, longer adventure trips and extreme conditions.

Heads up all. Received my front tires from Twisted Throttle today. All 4 were E-07 Dakar original, not + version. Notified them and they replied back quickly and offered me 50% off to keep them. So now my price is around $35 a tire shipped. I'm happy.

Same here. Gotta give Twisted Throttle a big thumbs up and owning their mistake. They did not have any E07+ Fronts in stock, to swap. Hence the 50% off an already smokin deal.

I've got a few thousand miles on mine through most conditions except deep mud and rocks. I'm running them on the ma bdr on the 22nd and will see how they do. The trip will be about 3k miles

I hate to do this, because there's too much of this thread to dig back through. How is it that the E07+, which has larger, more widely-spaced tread blocks, is the 60%-on road tire, while the standard E07 with its more narrow spaces is the more offroad-oriented one?

This will be a critical distinction for me, because the ride I'm planning involves occasional mud, and more frequent dry, loose rocky ground and water crossings. I would think that the E07+ would be more suitable to that sort of terrain.

The tire with more cutting edges is usually the more dirt oriented one. The one with larger contact patches is usually the more street oriented.

The + is more offroad oriented than the standard.
