FLIPPING THE BIRD

My wife asked me to cook the bird on our little Webber. She wanted a smokey grill bird but did not want to wait on our slow smoker. One problem the bird was touching the roof of our little Smoky Joe Webber grill. So I just flipped the bird.

I need to take folding class from you.
I learned that you need to put the fixins' on one end. Fold one side in, which will close that side. Leave the other side open, and start rolling from the end with the fixins'. Rolls up nice, and tight. If you start out with the fixins' in the middle, and roll it, it falls apart.

. . . .Just how many tacos did you make? I'm only jealous.
Two for that night, and two for lunch the next day. McCormick makes a chicken taco seasoning package. NOT the same as regular taco seasoning. Super easy, and super delicious. Don't know if you would call them soft tacos, or chicken burritos. Put whatever you want into them.

I don't know what made my mouth water more. . . . your outdoor kitchen. . . . or your flippin' bird. :D I'm in the process of building my kitchen, but it's not going to be as nice as yours.

Quarantine has been pleasant for me. Getting projects done, reading books, and cooking. The wife and I have never gotten along better.

I’m waiting to see someone using a turkey fryer. I seen them in shops but never seen them used. Sounds a great idea. I understand you fill them with peanut oil?

This is all that's left of seasoned pork chops. Grilled/smoked with a combo of pecan, and mesquite. Ranch Style Beans, and b-b-q beans w/beef & bacon. I fixed the b-b-q beans by themselves this time. Next time, they'll be combined with Borracho beans w/Shiner Bock.

Tonight's pornographic entry is grilled/smoked drumsticks, and a combo of Borracho & B-B-Q beans. Those of y'all fortunate enough to have H-E-B grocery stores nearby, are familiar with the quality of their store brands. And, after a couple bowls of the bean combo. . . . there will definitely be some proper social distancing going on.
