If anybody has seen any of Ryan F9's ("Fortnine") videos on Youtube, he did one on the S10 that I thought really nailed exactly what this bike is all about. His content is always top-notch.

I have watched it several times. Did you see the video he just did on the 1250GS?

The one about the two-stage cams? If so, yes. His videos are all good. One of my favorites is the one where he talks about why the press reviews are all BS.

He's good and rides in my neck-of-the-woods :D

I remember how many people got upset at that review, but in the end, it's accurate and good (if you watch to the very end :D )

His video helped when mulling over a GS vs S10 for me. His review pretty much matches the feelings I have for my Versys650. It is just there. Doesn't make you feel insane or lustful. Just works. Rode it cross country last year and up to Nova Scotia. The shifter dried up and needed lube oh and the clutch cable needed lube.

Sometimes having something that just works well will lead you to more interesting locations without fear of some small thing biting you in the butt.

For the longest I didn't know that FortNine was a retailer. I just thought he was a dude with awesome content.

Reminds me of the UK Top Gear. Clarkson would come out talking s**t about anything American. By the time he beat the crap out of the American car, he would smile, and reluctantly say he liked it.

His S10 review was one of the reasons I bought mine. Coming from Harley’s, it’s really nice to be able to focus on the ride and not the bike.

It’s a good, reflective analysis I thought. For me it hold true. This bike does make everything easy (except for picking it up or moving it around). And even though “exciting” is never a word I’d use to describe it, I find it really fun to ride. Maybe because it’s really drama free, and I’ve BTDT with other bikes. This bike is the reliable old buddy you know you’re gonna have a good time with, even if you’re just puttering around.
