I have watched a few episodes of “itchy boots”. It is interesting, but I get the feeling that her producing the videos takes all the fun and joy out of the ride. Looks more like a job to me and not so much adventure. She looks kind of lonely too.

I've watched her videos from the beginning. I have a Himalayan. If you know her background it makes more sense. She has done a lot of solo traveling in her life. I agree she spends a lot of time working on her channel and she discusses that in her live broadcasts... However I think the channel is now helping her support her adventure so I guess in a way its become a job.

She has taken a few weeks off to get a break from creating the the video and blogs.

My wife and I both enjoy Itchy Boots videos, I'd have thought it would be lonely travelling on your own for so long but I guess talking to camera so often might make it less lonely.

I watched this series and thought it was lame. Putting people with no experience at all on trails that can be hard for experienced riders is a recipe for disaster and a lot of it seemed staged. I watched it because it was funny seeing them crash 10 times an episode and the one guy crying saying getting to the top of the first mountain was the hardest thing he has done in his life. lol Episodes 3 and on were tolerable for comedic value.

My god this show is not in my wheelhouse at all. First of all, I hate reality shows and manufactured drama. This show strikes me as a reality show with a backdrop of riding bikes.

I kept on forwarding past the drama trying to get to the riding and kept on hitting more drama, maybe there's some riding there, I couldn't find it.

Shows like this is why youtube is gaining more and more viewers.

To me it just was hypocritical all the way through, who decided it was a good idea to pick people that had not been off road before (Scooter rider) and then take them up Ophir pass...What ?????? Not bothering to check the bikes ahead of time...(No skid plate on one bike, multiple break downs) Then the praying gay away ????? Comparing the temptation to watch porn as being the same as being attracted to men, the rider even mentioned he had been that way since 6 yrs. old. I was truly disgusted with this film by the end.
