Welcome from Central Missouri. Waiting is tough... bought mine the first of December but I am not picking it up until end of April... waiting has sucked! Dealer said he would store it all winter for free. Weather and no time meant I wasn't going to be riding it anyway.

I'll be the first, but not the last, to tell you what I prefer. Skid plate--basic Altrider. I don't need heavy duty, and I like the design, and where/how it bolts up. Crash bars--Mastech. Compact, allows battery access w/o bar removal, mounts to where the OE skids do, and much more affordable than other brands. It's still going to come down to what YOU want/need. Enjoy.
