I play a lot of Rush music, my own drums (not well), listen to the Whiskey Throttle Show and Red Bull Straight Rhythm. It's the equivalent of deer whistles for female humans. My man cave is also my shop and my office, so adding to the repellent are my welder, lathe, mill, and my electronics.

My man cave is crammed into the one car garage space of our 3 car garage. It’s Actually a really nice setup for me. No fancy machinery. Enough tools to do almost any repair. But man, I sure would like a press, mill, and lathe!!

When I was in Minneapolis, we lived in the city. I had a 2.5 car garage, and kept 2 cars, 6 motorcycles, a motorcycle trailer, welder, radial arm saw, two snowblowers, a few gas containers, and a big tool box in that garage. The motorcycle trailer hung above one of the cars using a set of pulleys, steel cables, and a boat winch. Replacing the output shaft bushing in the Volvo automatic transmission in an unheated garage in -5F lying on cold concrete temps sucked.

The new shop is heated, 30'x40', and it doesn't matter how cold it is outside. I have 7 motorcycles here, my trailer is on the ground, and if something breaks, i can fix it w/o freezing to death. Life is good.
