So...what other bikes do you own?

A friend asked me today if I were to get another bike what would it be? The ST and a 88K75c is in the garage now.

At first I thought of a Goldwing but after my ride today I had second thoughts.

If I were to get another bike it would actually be two bikes.....this week.
First one would be a real nice low mileage 2005FJR that is sitting on a local dealers floor. I’d do a suspension upgrade and color match the wheels in that beautiful Galaxy Blue.
The other bike is now on CL, a nicely upgraded 2003DRZ400E.

But that would be 4 bikes in the garage and not enough time to ride them all, plus I’m going to procrastinate until they are both sold.

Fantastic bike but a bit tired. 20,000 miles on it, I bought it at 7,000 miles and have put a lot of freeway miles on it as my main commuter bike (up until I bought the Ten). Believe it or not a 29 year old 350 doesn't actually much like commuting on L.A. freeways with (non traffic) cruises speeds of 70 mph. I even went to the point of re-gearing my street wheels to compensate.

But boy is it fantastic in the dirt ;)

This is the one that got me into Dual Sport/Adventure. I had no intentions of it until by chance a buddy was selling this, I happened to be at his place, and I decided to take it for a test ride. This one's been down for a long time now because I spit the countershaft bearing through the side of the engine case. I stopped it in time and suffered no major damage but have been slacking in getting the damaged part of the case welded and re-machined. Now that I have the Ten I may shine it up real well when I fix it and try to get the most I can out of it. Or I'll just keep it because I'm a bike hoarder.

Got this plus four large boxes from a buddy of mine. Stashed in storage until I have time to build it.

Love my 701, contemplate selling the S10, but poor resale and paid off make it easier to keep.

I work 60-80 hours a week so don't really rides much anymore

2005 Honda 750 Shadow. Legally mine now, but was my brother-in-law's. He lost interest in bikes, prefers his Mustang rag-top. Trying to flog this for him now.

I got this bike about three years ago, didn't really want it but it was part of a buy one and you have to take this one deal. It was completely disassembled and came in plastic totes, bare frame completely stripped down, etc. I put it all in the back seat of my truck and it actually stayed in there for a few days.

My buddy saw it and fell in love with the bike, which was good because I wasn't in the mood to deal with it so I gave it to him. We put the rolling chassis together and he rolled it into his garage where it sat untouched until recently. I did some work on his DR350 and he gave me the bike back to make room in his garage.

I spent an entire day figuring out where all the parts went, lots of missing bolts but I have plastic tubs full of metric hardware so I pieced it together. At the end of the day, I was able to get the bike to fire up. It still needs some stuff, a chain before I can ride it but it's definitely putting out the cool old school vibes.

Sooooop badass!!! My gen of favorite sportbikes!! Early 90s always tug my heart. One bike of em all I regret I sold was my 93 ZX7..... 11 yrs, zero issues, super rare and super beautiful when I sold it like a DA..... Still hate I sold it.
