Anyone got a shifter setup for GP shift?

You could probably make a Z shaped push rod to get to the other side of the shift shaft. You are going to lose the adjustability of the stock pushrod so might need to make a few different lengths to get it correct. Certainly doable.

I always left my bikes normal shift on track. Always feared having a brain fart and munching a trans mid race. I figured if normal shift was good enough for Schwantz an Miladin it was good enough for me.

Why? I've run both ways. Perhaps I'm missing something, but it's the same pattern, just reversed. No benefits on the street that I could see.

Thanks for the replies. I really prefer it, feels more natural. Always takes my brain a minute to adjust when I switch bikes and the ST is the only standard shift I have presently. Just curious if anyone’s done it.

I was looking at the linkage and I think it would be an easy fix with with a little fabrication work. Just a matter of flipping the shifting arm on the rod.

I can relate to what you are thinking. On my mountain bikes and road bikes my brakes were always swapped to match my motorcycles. I have been using a LHRB for almost 15 years on both my Beta and KTM. So it's only natural to do the same on my bicycles.

It's funny, I ve been able to seamlessly shift between bicycle and motorcycle setups, but have friends who have to swap their pedal bike setups to match the motorcycle
