I’m a farmer in an area with low humidity. My tractors live wrapped in dirt while they work. If I add the number of tractors that I have had and have, I add about 1.000.000 hours of work. Never break a engine due to dust entering it. I can only say positive things about paper filters, and the confidence that inspires me. I consider myself a tester of them ....

Got rid of the annoying Harbor Freight OEM pans. Got the Bumot pans on. Top box here by end of month. Looking forward to that one, so I can strip.the sides for commuting and easier lane split.

Oh and powerbronze winglets to cut down on the cold sneaking under the screen.
You get the optional lockbox on the right hand?

And yes, it is the original heatet grips:). Still needs to put the grips on handlebar, and route the wire.
But did get to play a little around with the settings, and I must say, that there is some funny jump in the A usage = the heating.
setting 10 uses 2.7 A, setting 9 uses 2.7 A
set 1 uses 0.66 A, set 2 uses 1.2 A.
Very strange work from Yamaha.....
I ended up with set 1=1, set 2=4, set 3=10. Might change when I get it on handlebar, and testet on the road..
(and not like picture, and no, I don't remember the A use in set 4, but around half of max.)

Easily one of the best add ons I did! Well at least now commuting in the 30s and low 40s in the morning. WTH they werent stock on every model Tenere is crazy.

Highly recommend a set of aftermarket guards to take the chill blast off your hands. It made a big difference too.

In Denmark the "non ES model" don't have electronic suspension, heatet grips, central stand, and engine protection.
But is around 8000$ cheaper:p

Timely post and part numbers, thanks! I'll be installing the OE heated grips on my new '18 in the next couple weeks.

(I found out yesterday, that the right hand side heatergrip, is actually 5mm shorter than original. Currently in contact with Yamaha dealer...)
