Pork barrel crap ? Well guess I happen to look at it a lot different than you, I think it’s a great thing when a member invites others to a gathering , on the Golding board they often call it RTE or Ride to Eat and I love attending that type of thing. I plan on attending a little 3 day Goldwing rally in Rogers Arkansas in April , the exact dates haven’t been set yet but I might be riding my Tenere.

Is May 22-24 a consideration? That is the weekend after the 18th annual V-Strom rally near the Cherohala. I know hitting both events in the same trip would be a very strong draw for DM and me.

Just realized if this is in April the wife and i can probably make this happen, we will be on our way back from Arizona with the toy hauler. And I’ll be on the KTM 790 if that’s ok.

Penthouse implies being more than 3 feet off the ground. That was never the case, but I get your point.

I hope to be able to offer CW more than just cheerleading support, but will need to see how my schedule works out.

Just added my name as attending and voted for April. Please do not make it May 16-18 as that is our local dealer, Niehaus Cycle Sales' annual Appreciation Days and we have hundreds of riders attend for that weekend and I will be leading adv demo rides.

Thanks for doing the poll but

I can do this till about the end of the first week in May but you'll need somebody else to run it if after that. A grandkid is due May 20 (and you KNOW how those go to schedule) and we already have plans for much of June.

Watching.......and wondering if any of the western NY contingent is interested in heading down as a group. I have a place in central KY near KYWoodsrider where we could throw our tents down for a night (it's 10 hours/600 miles from Rochester, a bit more than halfway to the rally) and then sync up with KYWoodsrider or anybody else in that area to continue on down to AR. Just thinking out loud......

Weather is always touch-and-go getting out of NY that time of year, so that becomes a factor for me.

Canceled (Those who want can still just go for a small get together)
