Yamaha Super Tenere

The first products made by Wunderlich were for the XT models of the 80's. Now, Wunderlich is returning to our roots and branching out beyond BMW motorcycles once again. The first non-BMW model for which we are offering a full line of accessories for is the Yamaha XT 1200 Z Super Ténéré. Please choose a category below or select all products for this bike to view the many parts available for the Super Ténéré.
Just about everything is now in stock and available for immediate shipment!

Help a mate out. Put your location in your profile so others know where you are in the world. It adds context to your posts. Also, let a Mod know you are a vendor so that can be specified in your profile for everyone to see.

You might also consider taking the time to post an introduction in the new members section. ;)

Not to put too fine a point on it, but it appears you are simply a re-seller of other peoples products. What Wunderlich products are offered specifically for the Super Tenere? Aside from a hydration pack and some straps, I see no other items that I would normally associate with Wunderlich.

Wunderlich makes a bunch of high end products for the Super Tenere. From shifters, levers, brackets, suspension components, etc. The stuff is super expensive.

I've seen those items for the BMWs, (and your description is spot on), so expected to see them for the Super Ten, but when I went to the linked site, none of those products were shown for the Super Ten.

If you bend the outer end of the two piece shiftier you have to buy the whole two hundred dollar shiftier again. :(
Don't I know it!! I should have gave my OEM shifter a chance. The Wunderlich bent like a pretzel and cracked when I tried to bend it back. The aluminum is of a very poor quality. For someone who never drops their bike the shifter is fantastic. It was designed with a roller tip that runs on bearings. It was made that way to help with the clunky shifting of the BMW.

FWIW, this is a BMW shifter that is just flipped around to fit the Super Tenere. In fact you can order an OEM BMW GS shifter and it fits the Super Tenere just fine. A simple modification of your linkage is all that's needed.

Excellent tip on the GS shift lever, balisticexchris! Which model year is that? Spare ones of those are more plentiful on ebay than the S10 ones, at least here in the UK.

I'm not sure what years but it also fits the BMW R80 G/S, R100 R and R100 GS. Keep in mind you will have to modify the linkage slightly (heim joint) and get the proper size bushing where it bolts to the shaft.
