Getting ferry from Belfast N Ireland to Cairnryan Scotland where Hunts Honda of Manchester England will meet me to do the exchange. We have dealt before with no issues... they deliver anywhere in UK for £99. really looking forward to it. BTW John Brown the boss is having the back wheel respoked foc .... seems to be a bit of an issue on these bikes?

Welcome !! great bike and not boring ,I ride hard with a lot of other bikes in the mountains and the S10 will keep up or smoke them. Its got everything one could want ( except canceling turn signals ) ride easy ,ride hard its reliable , just maintenance like everything else you want to last.

I have just ridden 2000 miles and can say I love the bike. I use the town mode in traffic, on the dirt and in the rain and sport mode for everything else. I found I like 5th gear for a lot of my riding and use 6th for the highway only. I still have to try the different traction controls. Simply love the cruise control. I bought the Chinese side stand enlarger and it works great as I live up a dirt road. Yes it is heavy and hard to park in tight spaces where paddling about is necessary but feels amazingly nimble once underway. Well there are my thoughts on my new to me ride so far.

Congrats on the new ST, I too am a new to the ST ownership ranks after a long, long time in lurk mode. I have only about 1200 miles with about 25% of those on gravel and dirt roads. The back woods areas are just now becoming rideable but with the stock battlewings I'm finding traction lacking in mud and even medium deep sand, so more dirt aggressive tires are in order. The Chinese sidestand does work excellent and very happy with mine. If you have any pictures of your ST lets see 'em!

Well this is what it looks like at the moment, rainy day in central WA. The beat up shack in the back of the photo has two bikes (one running) parked in it. Note real tarp roof. Pathetically legit. Welcome to the country. The tarp in the front of the shot covers my honda generator that is back up to the solar system.

I know some other people living off grid near Packwood. It's more work, but has many rewards.
