Apart from a 50 odd mile ride when I picked up my new (to me) bike, today was the first time do had the chance to go out for a good ride. I set off from Leeds and headed over to Whitby, it's always a good run once off the A64. Going up over the tops the heavens opened and rained solid until I reached Whitby.

I then set off down the coast road stopping at a little tearoom for apple pie and a pot of tea. I then continued down through Scarborough and Bridlington before heading home through Driffield. 207 miles completed and I really think I'm going to enjoy this bike.

Nice! I became an owner of a 2017 Super Ten just two months ago on 1st. August and I am really enjoying riding it. I am going to give it a test next Saturday as I am going to catch the overnight Harwich - Hook of Holland ferry to have 9 days riding around Holland, Germany and Poland, I’m really looking forward to it!

That sounds a fantastic trip. I've never ridden abroad but hopefully someday I will get across there. Enjoy your trip and plenty of pictures on here please :D

Can't beat a run to Whitby! Some great roads over the moors if the weather is good and especially when there is fish and chips to be had too. We went earlier this year, then like you we followed the coastal road through Scarbados (even getting in a lap of Oliver's Mount too). I'm hoping to get another run over there before the end of October, weather permitting. Glad you're enjoying the bike.
