Only moved out to PA a few months ago, but back in CA I had a 2001 FZ1 (bought in August of 2000), a 2006 FZ1 (bought in April of 2006), & another 2001 FZ1 bought in 2011 that I took cross-country & back & up the Pacific coast a few months later. It began with a Seca II, there was an Aprilia Tuono between the last 2 FZs, then a Versys, & now the S10 I've wanted since joining here back in 2011.

I owned a 91 1100 and an 03 1300. Put about 200k on both. Loved those bikes. Old-ish fart now. Bought a Tenere for myself and a Wingabago for when the missus wants to ride.

My STOC number is 522.

Another Honda ST-er here. Had a '93 ST1100 ABS and still own a 2005 ST1300 ABS. I put 150K miles on both of them (so far with the ST13) but it is for sale. STOC #025

Don't remember my STOC number but I learned a lot on the old email list. Had a black 1991 ST1100 then a pearl red 1996 with ABS. Those bikes took me border to border and coast to coast. Switched to an FJR rather than the ST1300. Still have the FJR but may sell it this spring.

I have a Triumph Trophy SE. That's encroaching on ST1300 territory, right? Looking at a Suoer Tenere to replace it when the time is right.

You won't be disappointed. I've ridden the FJR & ST1300. The T-12 is my favorite. . . . by far.

Well, since this thread floated to the top, I'll play. :)

In my former life, I had an ST1100. Put about 80K on it then wrapped it around a guardrail. A couple years in a row I managed to get to Westoc, Eastoc, and NEstoc gatherings (didn't have a 'real job' at ther time) ... met a lot of nice people who befriended me as a dorky, younger, solo traveler. STOC 639.

I had a 2005 FZ1. No comparison between the S10 and the FZ1. S10 is far less spirited, but much more versatile to ride. I found the S10 much more enjoyable to ride at keep your license speeds. The FZ1 was a blast at doing the 0 to 90 in first gear thing, but just required high speed to keep me entertained. The S10 does not have those issues.

I still have a 2003 ST1300. We will see if I keep it around. Its a great bike, but has so little value, that it might as well take up space in the garage and be used for 2 up trips. It does handle much better than my S10 though, so much more fun un the twisties.

I will, respectfully, have to disagree. In my opinion, the ST is a good bike. . . . the Tenere is better.
