Fitted the Skene dimmer to my Baja Squadrons after the original bulky-white brick smoked itself. The Skene unit is about 1/5 the size and brightness is adjusted by using the high beam switch rather than some rinky dink wireless remote control. Very pleased with the unit so far.

Hopefully you have the original bolts for the grab handles. They are shorter. Other than that, the black, heavy gauge steel hardware is easy to identify and remove.

Depends on intended use. If you spend most of your time on pavement, the extra 200.00 is best spent elsewhere, IMO.
I own the squadron LEDs. They definitely throw more light than the PiAA 530's, but dimming them for on-coming traffic is a must because the beam dispersion is in a large circle...

+1. The sweep messes with me as well. Too much strain between the shoulder blades and on the neck.
I've dragged my feet on buying the Fasst flex bars. Maybe this will be the year. The tradeoff is I'll be rubbing against the tank bag.

Remove the dust caps, insert the hook-shaped tool, slide it in a COMPLETE CIRCLE around the seals then pull out. Repeat as necessary. You are doing something wrong.
