Agreed,
1) Our kids have their own passions and interests.
2) No matter how badly we want them to share ours; it isn't going to happen unless they want it to.
3) Even if we can pay the way for them to share our interest that's not always the best thing to do.

I agree the deal is great. Always some (financial) downside when buying new; but it's nice to be able to limit how much.

I ride at the track now and again so the relatively aggressive position of the C14 is natural to me. I do enjoy the different characteristics of the two bikes and don't have too much trouble acclimating from one to the other.
