2018 R1200GSA back to Super Tenere

I went to the dealer and fell in love with the 2019 Super Tenere ES on the floor. Starting to look like I'm going to move forward with switching back. Felt like a perfect fit, just like I remember. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

2018 R1200GSA back to Super Tenere

Kind of funny reading all the replies. Haven't totally made my mind up yet, and the biggest hurdle is eating the financial investments I made in the GS. It has been a great bike so I can't complain, but I do know the Tenere was a better fit. Going to sleep on this for a couple more weeks before...

2018 R1200GSA back to Super Tenere

Ever sell a bike and realize you made a big mistake in doing so, later on? After having my 2014 Super Tenere ES for 4 years and 50k miles, I got weak and some of the new and exciting elements to the R1200GSA got to me. I bought one in March of 2018 and have put about 10k on it since then. I...

Who road on new year's day

I did. 34 degrees in the western hill country in TX, and topped it off with an inconvenient but fun low side in some mud haha. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Re: My bizarre & seemingly unsolvable cruise control issues...hoping for new ideas. As the OP, my ultimate fix was the clutch switch. I believe mebgardner's was the front brake switch. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

You're probably right about the date code assumption. I still have the packaging from the same part that I replaced for a 2nd time months ago, and like yours my P/N# is exactly the same...but the last digits are 'D161208V'. I've still got my original in the new part bag. Good luck in your fix!

Re: My bizarre & seemingly unsolvable cruise control issues...hoping for new ideas. Over 300 miles with the new clutch switch now and still zero malfunctions! Planning to put on 400 or more this weekend to continue verifying too. Hard to rack up the miles I used to with Sonora in my life...

Re: My bizarre & seemingly unsolvable cruise control issues...hoping for new ideas. Yes sir, that is correct - this is my 2nd installed clutch switch (which was why I didn't quickly circle back to it). The clutch switch I just installed last weekend was a new part number that superseded the...
