Any experience with Hi-Flo air filter?

That would have been nice; cheaper and faster delivery than OEM offerings, but if it’s a batch issue, there’s no telling how many I'd have to order. OEM only extra $8 and on it’s way.

Air Filter Choice for your SuperTenere?

Wrote this on another thread. Returning two HiFlow filters because they don’t fit. With the bottom seated, the top won’t fall into place like the OEM does. When I apply some force, the airbox twists to accommodate so that the cover no longer fits. I guess OEM for me.

Any experience with Hi-Flo air filter?

    I actually ordered two, after I didn’t like the pleats on the first one. Second has same fitment issue. When you lay it into place, the upper lip is too large and won’t drop in like OEM will. If you force it, the airbox bends and the lid won’t seat. Verified fitment on their site;

Any experience with Hi-Flo air filter?

HiFlow didn’t fit. Can’t explain exactly which dimension; the whole thing just wouldn’t seat, then wouldn’t allow the cover to seat. ordering OEM

Any experience with Hi-Flo air filter?

2 hiflow filters from Jeff I don’t like the bent pleats. Not worth saving a few bucks for this kind of quality control.

Oil in Airbox- is this a common problem?

Can’t understand why they didn’t go with clips, cams, or at least machined screws for something that comes off this much. The other problem with electric screwdrivers is if you don’t start it by hand; you end up making new threads each time, weakening the hole. Maybe this is why they used ten!

Oil in Airbox- is this a common problem?

Just checked my filter and was shocked to find this much oil. Admittedly, the filter change is overdue. I noticed the capped drain hole is the left rear airbox; thinking of installing a longer tube for inspection/collection. And why oh why, ten screws for the cover!!?? Two would honestly do...

HOW TO: Quick and Easy ABS Disable Switch

The inability to disable the rear shows that Yammi knew the world would disregard the off road chops of this bike. I didn’t care about this limitation until I descended a loose gravel hill and couldn’t stop until it flattened out, (very scary), thanks to ABS.

My Re-Spring of the S10 ES Shock

So a year later, do I need to order a custom spacer kit like sblissner did, or does someone sell a ready made kit for that Magic Eibach spring? I think everyone here would opt for $100 spring setup to correct this simple problem. Personally I love my ES and use the stiffness setting all the...

    Hand guards recommendations

Those HB guards are an interesting proposition, but look like a heavier total package, cost more than others and stick out further forward, (oem already contact my aftermarket windshield). Thx for pics

    Hand guards recommendations

I think it’s a fair question as Touratech is no longer available. Barkbusters seem to be the most popular, but Highway Dirt Bikes seems more robust, while Cycra and Acerbis have some interesting offerings.

    Hand guards recommendations

Please post pic, price and link to purchase only if you are happy with and recommend your hand guards. The S10 is more capable that she gets credit for. This is for those who chose to risk some character lines.

Tires That Fit - The List

So where do you compromise? I‘ve read that you compromise on your weakness. I’m decent off road, but better on asphalt, so I run a dirt biased tire to even things out. Currently running Shinko 705 rear and Dunlop TM Mission front. Totally different bike off road, very confidence inspiring. I’ve...
