The next chapter...KTM Super Adventure S

you're going to hate going to oranges.. I know I did. Consider getting a filler sock for it. Besides some issues on the fuel pumps, they are highly entertaining, and well set up as standard bikes. Enjoy!

    Another SV Build

I owned a 99 TL1000S for 4 yrs. Great bike. Made a fantastic noise with the yosh RS3 cans. For where I'm at in life (read...a bit more sane) the SV650 will be great. They are a dime a dozen, reliable, and well put together.

    Another SV Build

Thanks kindly. Enjoying the build and looking forward to actually commuting on the bike. I work downtown. There's parking at my building but it's stupid expensive even for those who work there. In excess of $20/day regardless of car or bike. A lot two blocks away charges peanuts, $5. If...

Your thoughts on it costing $10,000 ?

Looks ok, price wise in Canada. It's $12k Canadian tire pesos. That works out to $8.9K USD. That's early delivery price. Add freight, and tax to that, in Alberta, likely about $13.65K CDN OTD. My 2017 AT was 16K OTD back in late 2017 when it was shit hot! Compare that against a 790, they...

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

you're missing my point. Nothing wrong with the Tenere suspension. I ended up revalving my front, and my rear preload collar started leaking. at 10 or 15k km. Good reason to get a new aftermarket shock. Money well spent. A new bike is not meant to tick all the boxes for everone. I'm an...

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

The 1090 would have been good. But...lots of heat from the motor, and some dodgy reliability. The 790 needs a few years to prove itself 1st. So far, small issues with it. I didn't know about the 45mm on the older Betas. AT never goes further than ATV trails.

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

trust me, you can notice on the AT. Flex is a non issue on dirt bikes. Key item here is yes, they are put through the ringer, take bigger hits etc..yet carry less than half the weight with bigger forks that they put on big bikes. The Oh's have better valving, hold a line better on the shitty...

    New Honda 2020 ES

Don't kid yourself. They will get sales. Latest greatest shit sells. And no I will not be buying another Honda. BTW..great seat, much better than the tenere OEM. Chain, again, personal thing. See my notes about my shaft experience. To each his own. AT leans more towards the more technical...
