Installed the DS Bike Protection Toolbox. Then rode 250 miles of some exploratory BCDR routes between Todo Santos and Punta Conejo and a few sections in Norther Baja along the coast.
It held solid and even with it sitting so low on the brackets it doesn't hit the caliper on full compression...
Last week near Lomas de San Ramon in northern Baja working on an 85%+ off road/backcountry Baja California Discovery Route option that can be ridden either direction with big bikes. Three years on the project, almost finished - added another 170 miles this season.
The Altrider plate. This is the second time I've taken it off to straighten the brackets and plate. It has absolutely done it's job. The WABDR gave it a good bashing and then this winter working on another version of the Baja California Discovery Route it's was beat up good.
Put this together - It works for me.
