HOW TO: Quick and Easy ABS Disable Switch

No and no, you shouldn't be really using the front brakes enough, going downhill, to activate abs. Downhill is a rear brake game. Also there's not ready way to deactivate abs for one tire and not the other. A fault in one renders the whole system in a fault state.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I had no boxes on it at the time, so maybe my wind resistance was just a bit better? I think the downhill section of I-270 helped a bunch.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Just a quick note, I only have about 150 miles on them at the moment: So far my initial reactions to the Trailmax Missions are as follows: On pavement the front end LOVES to tip into corners, way more than my old Battleax A41s - that was disconcerting at first. It rides a little bit like a...

    Reminder: Bleed your clutch often

Yes, it's the same system, what you're hearing is one caliper vs two and sound localization (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2814998/ - you hear differently from the front of your head vs the back), when they're cycling.

    Delkevic exhaust Signal Roast

So I mounted mine pointed a little down, but forgot to angle out. I removed the reflector when I installed it, and put some closed-cell aluminum backed foam insulation on the back of that indicator as a precaution. Because I didn't angle the pipe out, it actually melted a bit of my rear fender...

    Super Tenere Reactions

Yeeep, me too. The last bike night I went to had a BUNCH of harley owners, and two guys came walking up to me - "Hey, that's a nice bike, I had a BMW Adventure too" - "Well, that's a Yamaha Super Tenere, not a BMW, but thank you, I love it!" - "Oh wow, not a BMW? Huh. I just thought they'd...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

My Trailmax Missions arrived today. I like the way Revzilla is packaging them nowadays. I also found a local shop that will mount/balance/install them, on the bike (not just wheels only), for $140. SOLD! It will keep me from being annoyed at the stiffer sidewalls and allow me to be lazy. Now to...

    Reminder: Bleed your clutch often

I do my brakes every oil change, but I do the clutch twice a year. It's amazing how clear fluid performs vs even just year old fluid.

    New Zumo XT

For those of you looking to lock it, I assume this isn't for sitting on the street, but rather as a precaution for things such as running into the store, parking the bike for a minute, etc. I have a Zumolock XT. Way less expensive than the alternative. I also used a Motopumps GPS mount but you...
